Commitment to Transperency

Seller Ascent accesses and uses Amazon Information solely for the benefit of the specific Amazon seller account that has granted authorization through Amazon’s official authentication process (e.g., OAuth or Selling Partner API authorization).

We do not access, use, or disclose Amazon Information for any purpose unrelated to the authorized seller’s own account or its selected services.Seller Ascent is an independent analytics and automation platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Amazon.com, Inc.

Authorized Use of Amazon Information

All access to Amazon Information is governed by Amazon’s Developer Terms, Selling Partner API Terms, and Data Protection policies.

Seller Ascent processes this information exclusively to:

Provide analytics, reporting, and automation tools for the authorized seller’s account only;
Maintain and improve Seller Ascent’s own service quality and security; and
Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.

We do not share or provide access to Amazon Information to any party except as required to operate our services in full compliance with Amazon’s terms.

Data Handling & Security

Seller Ascent may share limited Amazon Information with specific subprocessors only as necessary to perform infrastructure, monitoring, communication, or billing functions. All subprocessors are contractually required to meet or exceed Amazon’s data-handling standards and may not use Amazon Information for their own purposes.

Seller Ascent uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide hosting infrastructure, storage, and backups.

For monitoring and logging, Datadog and Sentry are used to maintain technical logs and track errors.

For email and customer support, Google Workspace, SendGrid, and Intercom support communication and customer interaction needs.

Finally, Stripe handles billing, including subscription management and payment processing.

Data Sharing with Approved Subprocessors

Encryption: All data transfers use TLS encryption in transit. All stored data is encrypted at rest using AES-256.
Access Control: Amazon Information is accessible only to authorized Seller Ascent personnel who require access to support the seller’s account.

Prohibited Uses

Seller Ascent does not and will not:

Aggregate or combine Amazon Information across unrelated sellers or accounts;
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute Amazon Information to any third party;
Publish, market, or infer insights about Amazon’s own business or marketplace;
Use Amazon Information for advertising, marketing, data monetization, or commercial resale.

Data Retention & Deletion

Retained no longer than 30 days after delivery, and
Securely and irreversibly deleted thereafter in accordance with Amazon’s Data Protection Policy.

Sellers may revoke our API access at any time via Amazon’s Developer Console, upon which Seller Ascent will immediately cease retrieval and begin deletion of related data.

Policy Updates & Compliance

Seller Ascent’s use of Amazon Information is subject to ongoing review and may be modified to remain compliant with Amazon’s Developer and Selling Partner terms. We will notify users of any material changes to this policy. Continued use of Seller Ascent’s services constitutes acceptance of the most recent version.
